Download a set of You've Got Mail desktop patterns, including different colored envelopes, mailboxes, and the You've Got Mail logo. Just select the right computer screen for your system and follow the instructions below.

Macintosh (.hqx)
|

Windows (.zip)
|
Instructions:
On the Macintosh, click to download the file, which will unstuff itself on your hard drive (if it doesn't, use Stuffit Expander). You will now have a folder called "YGM Patterns"; open it and you'll see six different image files. Then just go to "Desktop Pictures" in your control panels (called "Desktop Patterns" on pre-System 8 systems) and drag and drop any of the images onto the pattern or picture box.
In Windows 95/98/NT, download the file, which will unzip to make a folder called "patterns". Go to your "Display" control panel, and select Background. Under "Wallpaper", select Browse, and then locate the patterns folder. Select whichever pattern you'd like to use, and you're all done.
